A delegation from New Valley University visited Aswan Air Base to mark the 43rd anniversary of the liberation of Sinai.

Under the auspices of Professor Abdel Aziz Tantawi, President of New Valley University, and in coordination with the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, and under the supervision of Colonel Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Director of the University's Military Education Department, and Professor Gamal Hassan, General Coordinator of Activities, the University's General Administration of Youth Welfare, in coordination with the University's Military Education Department, organized a field visit for university students to Aswan Air Base. This visit coincided with Egypt's celebrations of the 43rd anniversary of the liberation of Sinai. The students were received by the Commander of the Aswan Air Base. The visit began with a speech from the Commander of the Aswan Air Base, who welcomed the New Valley University delegation. The Commander of the Aswan Air Base conveyed the greetings of the Commander-in-Chief, the Minister of Defense and Military Production, and the Commander of the Air Force to the New Valley University students, highlighting the Armed Forces' keenness to welcome and interact with the university students. The Commander of the Air Base accompanied the university delegation on a tour to explain the base, its history, the origins and development of the Air Force through its various stages, and its role in the October War. The Commander of the Air Base then reviewed the development of military ranks and ranks, as well as the military uniform. The visit also included a lecture on the heroics of the October War, which addressed the role, missions, and activities of the Air Force in the glorious October War. A film titled "Protectors of Egypt's Skies," about the Air Defense Forces and the Air Force, was then screened. At the end of the visit, commemorative photos were taken with the base commanders. The base commander praised the university's role in serving the community, expressing his aspiration for further cooperation with the university in various fields and the Armed Forces' keenness to communicate with university students. Dr. Gamal Hassan, General Coordinator of Activities at the University, expressed his happiness with the visit, the warm welcome, and the important and historical information the students learned. He emphasized that the university welcomes all forms of cooperation with the Armed Forces. He conveyed the greetings, thanks, and appreciation of Professor Abdel Aziz Tantawi, President of New Valley University, to the commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the Aswan Air Base, wishing them continued success in serving our beloved Egypt.
